Reconstruction of Ndaiga Bridge on Malaba – Bugiri road. The road is part of the Main international artery to Uganda and its neighboring countries of Rwanda, Burundi and Eastern DRC connection to the Port of Mombasa.

The former bridge had an 8.25-meter single span, 3.5m width with a narrow and dilapidated timber deck in addition to having no parapets.

The distance between Lira and Gulu cities, a distance of 130Km via Kamdini junction takes at least three hours due to multiple potholes along the way but through the Awoo Bridge shortcut, travelers save up to 40 minutes of their time.

Detailed topographical surveys, hydrological and hydraulic studies and designs, geotechnical investigations, structural analysis and design of the Nalakasi bridge in Kaabong district of Northern Uganda.

Located 80km east of the business capital Kampala, and 500 meters south of the existing Kampala-Jinja Highway, the project consisted of the construction of a new three span 525m long cable-stayed bridge across the River Nile at Jinja.

The former bridge had a 4 - 6.25-meter span (overall span of 25m), 4.5m width with a narrow dilapidated timber deck with damaged parapets on structural steel universal beams supported on reinforced concrete abutments and reinforced concrete stepped piers.
